The fundamental principles of Feng shui

The principles of Feng shui reiterate the coherence and connection between energies.

The interaction of the 5-elements combined with a balanced relation between yin & yang
is key to a strong, vibrant and positive Ch'i energy flow.

Ch'i energy

Everything starts from the cosmic vital energy called Ch'i, Ki in Japan, Prana in India,
a subtle, intangible and unlimited substance made up of Yin & Yang.
In permanent movement, it flows throughout the entire universe, in the human body,
as well as inside and outside our homes.

This essential vital life force has a profound influence on physical, mental and emotional balance.

A well balanced Ch'i leads to vitality, positive emotions and well being.
Conversely, a blocked, unbalanced and weakened Ch'i leads to disorder and negative emotions.

Invisible although palpable, we don't see it but we can feel it.

Yin & Yang
It's the opposite forces of nature

Born from Taoism, Yin & Yang are the primary principles of Feng shui, the balance by excellence,

the centre, the way, the Tao.

They interact in a never-ending and ever-changing movement.
Yin cannot exist without yang and yang without yin, they support and nourish each other.
It's an unchangeable fact, we cannot change one part without modifying the other.

A Good Feng Shui expresses both active and passive energies.

The 5-elements of nature
Metal - Water - Wood - Fire - Earth

They are the energy essences of nature, the foundation of everything in the universe.

They have cosmological and planetary correlations.

They represent the movement of the Tao, in constant interaction.

Each of them holds a specific type of energy, symbolised by optimal colours,

materials, textures and shapes.

"Using the theory of the 5-elements as a reference, almost every phenomenon can be understood

in a new way :the compass directions, the laws of nature, the phases of life, the change of the seasons,

the time of days, the parts of the human body, the different types of food, emotions, therapies..."

The richness i achieve comes from nature, my source of inspiration"
